Processing XML using Java

The main aim of this document is to introduce XML and XSL and to explain some ways in which XML documents can be processed. There are two versions of this document. This version assumes a knowledge of Java. Here is a link to the version that assumes a knowledge of PHP.

The text of the talk is available in the following formats:

in one long WWW page;
divided up into several WWW pages that can be presented a screenful at a time;
as a PostScript file;
as a PDF file.
